Exciting opportunity for a Processing Manager in a major aquaculture business on the Eyre Peninsula. Join Angel Seafood, Australia’s leading producer of organic, sustainable-certified pacific oysters. Manage land-side oyster processing operations in a rapidly growing business on the Eyre Peninsula. Perfect for someone with food production experience and strong leadership skills.
Reporting to the Farm Manager, you’ll managing a team responsible for oyster grading, quality control, packaging, and freight consignment and export. Ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
We are presently looking to fill Leadership roles.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to
· Coordinate quality control processes
· Organize grading priorities
· Run sales and input grading
· Liaise with Farm Manager and Sales to coordinate sales allocations
· Ensure food safety protocols are followed throughout the process
· Ensure DIFOT (Deliver in full on time) packaging and dispatch
· Troubleshoot day-to-day issues
· Provide training and leadership to staff
Required proven leadership experience. Qualifications in food technology, manufacturing, or process control are desirable. Knowledge of Lean principles and food processing regulations desired.

LOCATIONS
Angel Seafood runs multi-bay operations across the Eyre Peninsula. Our site in Cowell is home for our spat nursery and year old juvenile stock before they are shipped out to our grow-out site at Haslam (near Streaky Bay), or onto Coffin Bay our finishing site.
This role is based in Coffin Bay.

Remuneration will be dependent on the role you take and reflect the skills and experience you bring to the company, with opportunities for training and career development in the Aquaculture Industry.
